Initial meeting

This first meeting with the students and their parents and is a general consultation to evaluate and plan the strategy and course of action the students need to follow in their academic, extracurricular and testing activities. We ask the students to send in their grades and a very short synopsis of their extracurricular and personal interests before this initial meeting.

Early start

8th grade


The Early Start Program is for those students and parents who want to have study programs and College Prep strategies in place well in advance.

9th & 10th grade

Undergraduate

Transfer

5 hours


The transfer process is tricky because college websites offer a minimum of information. It is important for the student to ask the following questions:

  • Do I want to transfer for a better academic fit?
  • Do I want to transfer for a better/different social scene?
  • Do I want to transfer to a different campus environment?
  • Do I want to transfer to another type of weather?

The 5-hour Transfer Program includes:

  • Explore options
  • Overview of High School and College Freshman year GPA’s, Toefl and SAT Scores.
  • Develop a predictable College List.
  • Integrated Essay Guidance:
    • brainstorm,
    • analyze ideas,
    • read drafts,
    • provide feedback

Graduate program

Undergraduate seniors


The Graduate School Counseling Program Includes:

  • Evaluation and discussion of graduate program options.
  • Individual guidance of the graduate school admissions process.
  • University/College list with match, reach, and safety possibilities.
  • Continuous application review and consulting on all applications, essays, resume and/or curriculum vitae, writing samples, and supplementary application materials.
  • Interview prep and simulated interviews in person, via telephone or Skype.

Essay guidance

5 hours


The purpose of the Essay Guidance program is to make admissions officers notice the student’s essay and supplements by presenting a coherent, well written essay which casts a favorable light on the student’s achievements, intellectual strengths and potential.

Essay Guidance Program includes: 5 hours of telephone/Skype/personal interview to:

  • To analyze essay topics and supplement questions,
  • To explore ideas,
  • To brainstorm,
  • To answer questions,
  • To read drafts,
  • To provide useful and positive feedback.

Additionally, this program may be used by Boarding School Applicants or Summer Program Applicants since the process is very similar.

This program has an expiration date of 6 months after the date of purchase.

SAT and TOEFL Preparation

Full Academic Year


Intensive preparatory classes for both the SAT/ACT and the TOEFL Standardized Tests. The academic-year long program aims to prepare students for these often required tests. This program can greatly improve your score and hence also increase the chances of entering your dream university!
